Our Elementary School program is meticulously designed to incorporate the latest knowledge about teaching and learning as well as child development.
We ensure that, during these key formative years, much time and energy is channelled into providing each girl with the best possible foundation for future academic, social, physical, and emotional development.
By the time our students have completed Grade 5, they will have developed the necessary skills to move on confidently to our Middle School program.
Academics
The Elementary School program involves a very child-oriented, hands-on, multi-sensory approach to teaching that encourages you as parents to participate in your child’s educational plan. Students are heterogeneously grouped with the flexibility to regroup as their instructional needs change, thus allowing every opportunity to meet each girl’s educational potential.
An interdisciplinary approach is used to teach the CORE subjects of reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, science and social studies. Students also have the opportunity to study Arabic or Arabic as a Foreign Language (AFL), Arabic Culture, Information and Communication Technology, Library Media Skills, Art, Music and Physical Education, Moral Education and UAE Social Studies. Children’s attitudes towards education begin to develop during these elementary school years, and AAG’s lively, activity-oriented program nurtures the beginnings of a life-long love of learning.
